Encouraging Outdoor Play While Respecting Our Neighbours

Dear residents of Ashton Hurst

With the warmer weather and school holidays, it's great to see children and young people out enjoying games, sports and spending time with friends.

We would like to remind parents and carers to ensure that children are considerate of those living nearby when playing in residential streets and cul-de-sacs.

While we encourage outdoor activity, behaviour can sometimes unintentionally cause issues for residents, including:

Please take a moment to speak with your children about respecting their neighbours and being mindful of their surroundings.
Where possible, encourage the use of local parks, recreation grounds and designated play areas for sporting activities.
 

By working together, we can help ensure everyone is able to enjoy the neighbourhood safely and respectfully.
